Welcome to HiringSG (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using hiringsg.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use this website or its services.
1. Definitions
- Platform refers to hiringsg.com
- Employer refers to companies, contractors, subcontractors, or licensed recruitment agencies using the Platform
- Candidate refers to jobseekers or workers using the Platform
- User refers to any individual or entity accessing the Platform
- Services include job listings, applications, employer dashboards, manpower request services, and related tools
2. Scope of Services
HiringSG operates as:
- A job portal connecting Employers and Candidates; and
- A workforce facilitation platform that may receive manpower requests and connect Employers with recruitment partners.
HiringSG does NOT:
- Act as the employer of Candidates
- Guarantee employment, job placement, or manpower fulfilment
- Replace statutory obligations under Singapore law
All hiring decisions remain the sole responsibility of Employers.
3. Employer Responsibilities
Employers agree that:
- All job listings are accurate, lawful, and non-discriminatory
- They comply with MOM regulations, Employment Act, and applicable labour laws
- They possess valid licences where required (e.g. recruitment agencies)
- They are responsible for salary payments, work conditions, levies, permits, and contracts
HiringSG reserves the right to suspend or remove listings that violate laws or platform policies.
4. Candidate Responsibilities
Candidates agree that:
- All information provided is true, accurate, and up to date
- Uploaded documents (CVs, certificates) are genuine
- They understand that submitting applications does not guarantee employment
HiringSG is not liable for hiring decisions, rejection outcomes, or employment disputes.
5. No Employment Relationship
Use of the Platform does not create:
- An employer–employee relationship between HiringSG and any User
- An agency relationship unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement
HiringSG acts solely as a technology platform and facilitator.
6. Manpower Requests & Third-Party Agencies
Where manpower requests are submitted:
- HiringSG may connect Employers with third-party recruitment agencies
- Any agreement, pricing, or placement terms are strictly between the parties
- HiringSG is not responsible for performance, compliance, or disputes arising from such arrangements
7. Fees & Payments (If Applicable)
- HiringSG may charge fees for premium listings, manpower services, or subscriptions
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing
- HiringSG reserves the right to revise pricing at any time
8. User Accounts & Security
Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
- All activities performed under their account
HiringSG is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from user negligence.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
All personal data is handled in accordance with:
- Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
- HiringSG’s Privacy Policy
Users consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of data for service delivery and compliance purposes.
10. Content & Intellectual Property
- All platform content, branding, and systems belong to HiringSG
- Users may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or misuse platform data
- Job listings and resumes remain the property of the submitting party but may be displayed on the Platform
11. Prohibited Use
Users must not:
- Post false, misleading, or illegal content
- Engage in discrimination, harassment, or unlawful hiring practices
- Circumvent platform systems or security
- Use the Platform for spam, fraud, or unauthorised solicitation
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:
- HiringSG shall not be liable for loss of income, business, or opportunity
- HiringSG does not guarantee accuracy of listings or candidate information
- HiringSG is not responsible for employment disputes, workplace injuries, or contractual breaches
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
13. Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify and hold HiringSG harmless from:
- Claims arising from job listings, applications, or employment relationships
- Breaches of law or third-party rights
- Misuse of the Platform
14. Suspension & Termination
HiringSG may suspend or terminate access:
- Without notice for policy or legal violations
- If false information is provided
- If platform integrity is compromised
15. Amendments
HiringSG reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
